OPERATING RULES

• At the beginning of the academic year parents are provided with information pack which includes:
  1. The full exams schedule for the year per class and group.
  2. The weekly hours during which parents can meet the school teachers and ask about the students’ progress.
  3. The student's personal code so that parents may be informed on students’ performance in each class through our web site anytime they want.

• The teaching hours are strictly observed. The secretary informs parents in case a student is absent within the first quarter.

• In case of a student’s absence, their guardian should inform the Secretary and the student must ask for the material taught on the same day as well as for the homework.

• Participation in the tests is mandatory and the Secretary shall inform the guardian if students are absent.

• Students receive books and support material (slides - cd roms). In case students lose their books, they are expected to replace them at their expense.

• Supportive teaching, if the teacher recommends it to the Academic Department, always takes place in extra hours and is free of charge.

• Individual courses that a student wants are provided upon agreement with the Director of the School. The cost is covered by the student.

• Meetings with the parents and the teachers are scheduled on a four-month basis in December and before Easter

• The curriculum of the school does not follow the school holidays. Specifically, holidays are:

Courses

ORGANISATION OF COURSES - STAGE OF PREPARATION FOR EXAMS

1. Classes consist of small groups of 3-7 students. (5 pupils on average).
2. The groups are homogeneous and each student is part of a course based on scores from the previous class and the specific ranking tests assigned by Diakrotima Schools.
3. The course lasts for 60 minutes with a 10-minute break every 2 hours when we change subjects. That is the daily schedule of Diakrotima (4 hours of practice). It includes a 10-minute break and not 4 breaks.
4. There are brief tests in class, three-hour tests every other Saturday and a special preparatory course during Christmas and Easter holidays. Student participation is mandatory.
5. Books especially prepared by Diakrotima editions and extra supportive material (CD-slides) are received by the students in the first ten days after registration.
6. Class and student cards show the students’ performance. So, a daily picture of the students’ performance is always available.
7. Career Orientation Workshops with specific guidance tests to help the students choose the direction and the schools that suit them after they have discussed with the Director of the School.

Εγγύηση Επιτυχίας

Η Εγγύηση Επιτυχίας ΔΙΑΚΡΟΤΗΜΑ βασίζεται σε μια απλή λογική:

Εάν ένας μαθητής εγγραφεί σε κάποιο από τα Φροντιστήρια ΔΙΑΚΡΟΤΗΜΑ και πληροί συγκεκριμένες προϋποθέσεις φοίτησης, τότε, του εγγυόμαστε ότι θα εισαχθεί σε μια απ' τις πρώτες 5 σχολές της επιλογής του, βάση αυτών που έχει συμπληρώσει στο μηχανογραφικό του.

Εάν, ο μαθητής μας πληροί τις προϋποθέσεις που θα του θέσουμε και τελικά δεν περάσει σε μια από τις 5 πρώτες σχολές που έχει επιλέξει, τότε, θα του κάνουμε τόσα μαθήματα - σε κανονικό τμήμα ή σε τμήμα αποφοίτων για ένα έτος με 50% έκπτωση στα δίδακτρα, ώστε να ξαναδώσει για να επιτύχει τους στόχους του.
