1. We adhere to the highest safety and hygiene standards,

2. We clean and disinfect all our facilities and surfaces that come into contact with students on a daily basis,

3. We strictly follow all official guidelines issued by the relevant government agencies (Ministries of Education & Health, EODY).

In addition, the DIAKROTIMA / AFTER SCHOOL educational centers are conducting specialized disinfection of all classrooms and common areas as a preventive health measure.

Disinfection ensures 100% elimination of pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses). The products used are approved by the EOF (National Organization for Medicines), which provides us with the necessary certificates.

Furthermore, out of a sense of responsibility and taking recent developments regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously, we would like to inform you that every day at our tutoring centers, we urge students, teachers, and staff to wash their hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and to avoid touching their hands, nose, mouth, and eyes.

When they cough, they should cover their mouth and nose with their elbow or a tissue and wash their hands immediately afterward. Dispose of the tissue immediately after use in a closed trash can provided on our premises.

We urge our students and staff to avoid close contact when they have cold symptoms (such as a cough, fever, runny nose, or sore throat) or with people who have these symptoms, especially the elderly or those with chronic illnesses.

Every day, we thoroughly and systematically ventilate all our classrooms and common areas starting in the morning, before classes begin, and we clean them with special disinfectants (bleach, alcohol) in the restrooms and in the areas where our students are present.

At the same time, frequently used smooth surfaces (e.g., teaching tables, desks, etc., as well as doorknobs, handles, stair railings or handrails, faucets, etc.) are cleaned using common cleaning agents, namely liquid soap and water, a 10% household bleach solution, or an alcohol-based antiseptic. Cleaning is performed by specialized crews wearing gloves and work uniforms; the gloves are discarded after use.

Finally, at the DIAKROTIMA tutoring centers, we are already stocked with alcohol-based solutions and have sufficient supplies of alcohol wipes and wet wipes for our students to use.

Dear parents, patience, composure, and following hygiene guidelines are what we ALL need to do.

In the event of a surge in the disease, we are prepared to support the education of all our students through online classes.

We’ll stay in touch with you!
