With exams just around the corner, the Peristeri New Life Support Group has joined forces with Ek Vathion and Eurognosis – Eurolab Peristeri, to help parents manage exam-related anxiety.
Through psychologist Maria Yarikas’s comprehensive presentation, we learned about the complex nature of anxiety and techniques for managing it.
Ms. Evangelia Ziotopoulou, a psychologist, emphasized, among other things, the importance of recognizing a child’s feelings of anxiety and fear and not dismissing them.
Mr. Theodosis Geltis, a philologist and career counselor, spoke on behalf of our tutoring center about the role of teachers in supporting students who take the national college entrance exams.Following the presentation, there was a lively discussion with the parents, who shared their experiences, thoughts, and concerns with us.
