At a highly symbolic anniversary event, the largest tutoring center group in Greece today, DIACROTIMA Tutoring Centers, marking nearly two decades of uninterrupted operation and involvement in the country’s educational landscape, celebrated the start of the new 2025 – 2026 and the nationwide expansion and growth of their chain, which now numbers more than 100+ branches.

The company’s annual conference began with a stirring opening address —a heartfelt address by our World Champion and Paralympian Stelios Malakopoulos, who, through his personal example, his character, and his distinctive outlook on life, inspires and encourages thousands of people of all ages every day.

Immediately afterward, the conference continued with remarks from the company’s management, followed by speeches from Group Chairman Theodoros Kalaitzidis and Group CEO Tasos Skiadopoulos. With the central slogan “With DIAKROTIMA, you can Dream!”, the owners and co-founders of the chain highlighted the importance of the DIAKROTIMA team and its workforce, discussed the impact the organization has on society, the evolution of the tutoring center, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process.

The conference concluded with presentations on the company’s strategic partnerships, and concluded with the announcement of 28 new educational institutions and partnerships within the network that were established over the past 12 months throughout Greece, for the period from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025.

The following individuals attended the event and delivered warm remarks: Yannis Hatzitheodosiou—President of the Athens Chamber of Trades and Professions (EEA), Kostas Giannopoulos—President of the Board of Directors of the NGO “The Smile of the Child,” Yannis Vafiadakis—President of the Federation of Educational Tutors of Greece (OEFE). Representatives from the companies BrandCon, Affidea, Career Gate, Innoview, Ocean Cube, and TECHNOkids – TECHNOPLUS also participated in the conference.

In addition to the warm words from the speakers, the highlights of the evening were the award ceremonies and the honors bestowed upon the organization’s staff! The six awards presented for outstanding performance within the DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Network over the past year were as follows:

ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARD (Largest center in the network in terms of sales and number of students), DIAKROTIMA in Heraklion, Crete, with Ms. Thania Linardaki as Center Director.

2024 AWARD FOR THE LARGEST NEW CENTER (Based on sales and new student enrollment), the DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Center in Sepolia, with Ms. Dimitra Roidou as Center Director.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (For students with the highest academic achievements nationwide) the DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Center in Kalamaria, with Ms. Fenia Giovanaki and Ms. Fani Papazoglou serving as Center Directors.

AWARD FOR CONSISTENCY & STABILITY: The DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Center in Kilkis, with Mr. George Syrepsios as Center Director.

AWARD FOR EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT, the DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Center in Amfiali, with Ms. Petra Zoe and Messrs. Panagiotis Koritsoglou and Manolis Trampako serving as Center Directors.

AWARD FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS (DIACROTIMA franchise educational system), the DIACROTIMA Tutoring Center in Kalamaki, Alimos, with Ms. Stavroula Vachaviolou as Center Director.

The evening concluded with a reception in honor of the participants and guests.
