This book is the first volume of the two-volume series “High School Physics, Grade 12” and was written to serve as a comprehensive physics textbook for students pursuing a science-oriented track, as well as a modern and practical teaching tool for fellow teachers.
Volume 1 contains 4 of the 7 chapters in the course, divided into instructional units.
Each section of the chapters contains:
– Detailed theory with observations, notes, extensions, comments, etc.
– Questions are divided into closed-ended questions (multiple choice, true/false) and open-ended questions.
– Solved examples that cover the key topics of the unit and serve as models for applying methods and strategies for solving exercises and problems, as well as examples of how to present the solutions to these problems.
– Exercises and problems to solve, arranged by level of difficulty.
– Knowledge assessment questions designed to evaluate the adequacy of the knowledge acquired while studying the module to which they refer.
The last four sections contain review questions and combined questions from the chapters above, labeled TOPIC A, TOPIC B, TOPIC C, and TOPIC D.
At the end of Volume II, which contains the remaining three chapters, 29 assessment criteria have been added, covering the entire subject matter.
The difficulty level of the topics or questions marked with this indicator exceeds what is expected for the national exams.
The formulas enclosed in a box are the ones provided in the formula guide along with the topics for the national exams.
