Theodoros Kalaitzidis, mathematician and president of the Diakrotima tutoring group: “Grades are the ticket, not the destination.”
The President of the DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Group, Mr. Theodoros Kalaitzidis, spoke in detail to “Proto Thema” about the day after the Panhellenic Exams and the strategy students should follow when filling out their computer-based answer sheets.
The Panhellenic Exams are now a thing of the past for approximately 100,000 test-takers, and the anxiety has shifted to the announcement of the scores and, above all, to filling out the computerized application form. Speaking on *Proto Thema*’s Vidcast, mathematician and president of the Diakrotima Tutoring Group, Theodoros Kalaitzidis, points out that the biggest mistake candidates make is treating the computerized application process as a way to maximize their scores. “Grades are the ticket, not the destination,” he emphasizes, explaining that the choice of a field of study should be based primarily on each student’s aptitudes, interests, and goals.
